Foróige's E-Mentoring programme for Kildare, Wicklow and South
Dublin has a new referral link that you can complete for a young person who you think could benefit from the programme. Please take the time to remove any previous links you may have.
What is the E-Mentoring programme?
Foróige’s E-Mentoring Programme is a youth mentoring programme that forms a supportive friendship between a young person and an adult volunteer. Its core assumption is that a caring and supportive friendship will develop and reinforce the positive development of the young person. The E- Mentoring Programme uses a blended model of support by offering participants the opportunity to meet weekly online, or in person. Before you refer a young person, please ensure that they happy to engage online.
Requirements for referral:
- The young person must be between the age of 10 and 17
- Be on a waiting list for, attending, or recently excited CAMHS
- Their needs must be suitable for volunteer intervention
- They must reside in Kildare, Wicklow or South Dublin
Making a referral:
To refer a young person, please click the purple "Refer a young person here" box below, you can save this link in your bookmarks for future use. When you submit a referral, you will receive an acknowledgment email. If the young person resides in an area where the waiting list is high, you will be emailed confirmation of this.
